What can I bring?

I am reminded I am a free man. I get to go anywhere and do anything I choose.

I used to be very concerned with what I would get out of every experience. I was self-centered, self-concerned, and selfish.

After I got sober, I was concerned with how others would see me. I would be careful when deciding if I should go to a bar for dinner, go to a family gathering, or a friend’s house party.

During this spiritual journey I have learned to be more concerned with what I can bring to each experience for the good of the gathering.

How can I be most present to others in each moment?

How can I bring joy to every experience?

Allowing myself to be compassionate, empathetic, understanding, kind, accepting, appreciative, honest, and Loving seems to be the answer to my question.

When I am focused on others and how I can best be present to them I receive more than I ever did when my motivation was selfish.

May each of you find your gifts and bring them to the table of society for our greatest good.

You are Love and Loved.
