This is my responsibility. To be ready, willing, and able to fulfil my part in the Divine design.
Now I have believed that following the rules of religions made me fit for my part. However, I continued to live out many thoughts, feelings, actions, and reactions which caused hurt to myself and others.
I would confess my “sins” and be absolved and eventually do the same things over again.
In my years of recovery from alcoholism I came to understand that I needed to find out and heal the why behind my beliefs, thoughts, feelings, actions, and reactions.
It is only through a thorough moral inventory and a discussion of my findings that I could begin my fitness journey.
This was the beginning of my spiritual boot camp where I worked diligently to carry out the suggestions of sponsors and other men who had already experienced the gift of living in balance.
Over the years I have discovered how the human can obtain and maintain a spiritual connection with the Divine Source, heal the internal traumas, and utilize this amazing creation called the human body. All in order to carry out my part of the Divine design.
Daily I continue to experience deeper areas of understanding where I get to allow changes to my current lifestyle and in so doing, I get to continue to grow fit for my part in the Divine design.
In fact, I am wondering if this continuous discovery is my part in the Divine design.
Until I find out the answer to that question I continue to participate in healthy eating, exercise, prayer, meditation, affirmations, appreciation, and setting of intentions.
May each of you allow yourself the gift of becoming fit for your part in the Divine design.
There is much Love for you.
