This moment

This morning’s meditation.

This moment.

I have heard so many people say, “never forget” and when I ask why not they seem to become offended.

So many experiences from my past were scary, hurtful, painful, depressing, sad, hateful, and the like.

If I do not move from the initial feelings and emotions, then every time I remember those experiences I will feel the painful feelings.

I can remember each experience as a lesson well learned, appreciate the changes I have made within myself because of those lessons and move on with my next lesson.

Each moment is my next lesson.

I can live in this moment with inner peace and enjoy my life.

In this moment I have many things for which I get to be grateful.

In this moment I can breathe, walk, eat, talk, write, Love and enjoy life.

This moment is all that exists. There is no past and no future, simply right now.

In this moment I choose appreciation, acceptance, understanding, empathy, kindness, peace, humor, humility, happiness, and Love.

May each of you find your present generous moment.

You are Loved.
