Spiritual awakenings subdue fear.

I recall discovering my fear of lack. That belief that I will never have enough therefore I needed to respond in fear.

I would live from paycheck to paycheck, spending everything I earned in the vain attempt to have all I thought I needed to be happy.

I then would see the lack of money because of my spending, and I would experience more fear.

When I finally had enough of an egoic emotional breakdown, I became willing to learn. An opportunity for a spiritual awakening.

Willingness to look at my responses to life as opposed to how I am a victim of life.

During my recovery life I have found that spiritual awakenings brought around new perspectives.

One, life is a collaboration, not a competition.

Two, appreciation brings more of that which I appreciate.

Three, you create that upon which you focus.

My daily routine of setting of intentions, statements of appreciation, affirmations, and meditation, allows me the state of being which brings me to spiritual awakenings and joy.

May you allow yourself the gift of willingness to experience a spiritual awakening today.

You are Love and Loved.
