Shame

I used to live in my shame and use it to try and keep myself in check. I would attempt to stop myself from repeating behaviors which hurt myself and others.

As I look back, I can see how I used shame as the selfish whip in order to bring myself to alignment with some rule or expectation I took on as a child.

Today I have no shame for I can see how each of my experiences were opportunities for me to learn what type of life I would want to live.

When I choose to respond to life in fear, anxiety, hatred, frustration or the like I feel dis-ease within, this feeling allows me the insight to stop, breathe, check my thinking, and alter my perception of that moment.

I no longer need to use shame to make me change my mindset, I need only a conscious contact with the Divine Love and allow that Spirit to flow to me and through me.

When I am tuned into the Divine Source all of life is exactly as it should be at that moment in my life.

May each of you allow yourself the gift of living without shame today.

There is much Love for you.
