I am reminded this morning how simple thoughts of appreciation can bring such an alteration of mind that it changes my perception of the world around me.
I have started the practice of being grateful for was does happen as opposed to fearful of what could have happened.
As an example, the other day I was driving down 27 here in Sebring Florida, I witnessed a person turn on to the highway in front of another car, that car swerved into the lane I was in, and I swerved between two vehicles, and no accidents occurred.
In my old mindset I would have ranted and raved over what could have happened. I chose to be appreciative for what did happen, nothing but an adrenaline rush.
Appreciation for my spouse and other people in my life brings conciliation to the relationships.
When I focus on what I appreciate about others I increase my Love for them and the relationship improves.
I get to practice this with every being I encounter, thus improving my relationships with all beings.
