My responsibility.

I am reminded how becoming an alcoholic was not my fault, it is my responsibility.

Addiction lies dormant until use of addictive chemicals triggers the compulsion to continue to use.

Now, after I have experienced what happens to me when I use addictive chemicals it becomes my responsibility to get well or I can choose to continue to use, knowing it is a choice.

I have come to discover this goes with every decision I make in my life.

Today I choose to be responsible for each decision and action I take.

Today, my intention is to enter every experience with compassion, acceptance, appreciation, kindness, humor, peace, and Love.

You are Loved.
