Meditation

I am reminded how Meditation is the time when I sit quietly and tune into the frequency that is God.

In my spiritual childhood.

I used to earnestly pray for what I wanted and live in disappointment when those people I prayed about did not change, my money influx did not increase, and that person did not fall madly in love with me.

I have since learned that prayer is simply making statements of gratitude until I feel the appreciation for all that I have deep within.

Meditation is used to tune into the Love that is God and to become one with the Divine design for my life.

Meditation also brings healing to the body.

Through breathwork, mindfulness and releasing my need to control.

The breathwork calms the mind, lowers the heart rate and the blood pressure.

It brings the human out of the fight, flight, or flee syndrome in which most humans exist.

May each of you give yourself the gift of meditation today.
