I am reminded of the human’s dependence upon God and how little many humans actually live out the will of God in their lives.
So many times, I thought I was doing God’s will by judging and condemning others based on what I thought was God’s word.
Then came the self-condemnation where I sent myself into a spiral of self-defeating behaviors which hurt me and the people, I loved the most.
Eventually I completed a dark night of the soul, worked through an honest moral inventory.
I learned that forgiveness is the answer to letting go of the past and acceptance is the key to living in the joy of the present, and appreciation is the path to the future.
God’s will for me to is simply find and maintain my connection to God and since all beings are God, I get to learn to create and maintain a Loving relationship with each being.
Today I choose to see all beings as a reflection of God.
Today I intend on entering every experience with compassion, empathy, acceptance, appreciation, understanding, kindness, peace and Love.
May each of you allow yourself the gift of finding the will of God in your life.
