Facing the day.

I have often thought this phrase indicated that the day was going to be difficult, so I had to gear up to be able to take on the day.

This type of thinking sometimes led to an all-day whine fest in which I would complain about every single situation, find fault with every person, and fear almost everything I experienced.

I have come to discover that my beliefs and thoughts dictate how I will perceive myself and the world around me.

I am in control of what I believe and what I think, therefore, I get to reprogram my mindset into whatever I choose.

Today I get to view the world and everyone on it as an amazing creation, and I choose appreciation for the opportunity to exist in the world and with all other beings.

Today I intend to approach every experience with compassion, empathy, kindness, happiness, joy, peace, and Love.

I no longer have to face the day; I get to create my day!

May each of you allow yourself the gift of creating your day.

You are Love and Loved.
