As a child I believed that the more pious and religious I was the more Divine I became.
In my mistaken beliefs I thought that meant I was better than others who were not as good as I was at being good.
In reality I was trying to hide how bad I thought I was behind the facade of religiosity.
Currently, I have a new understanding. The more I appreciate the good within, the more I will appreciate others around me.
When I finally discovered the Love that is God within myself, I could detect the Love within others.
I had to be willing to acknowledge that being Love and being Loved was not arrogance. it is becoming that which I was created to be.
It is the grace of the Divine that allows me to humbly be Loved and to be loving.
Through my routine of daily prayers of appreciation, affirmations, setting of intentions, and meditations, I get to align myself with the Divine Spirit and participate in other people’s lives with kindness, acceptance, compassion, empathy, and peacefulness.
May each of you allow yourself the gift of living in the Divine Love.
You are Love and Loved.
