Emotional maturity.

As I was growing up, I created a belief system based on what I experienced.

Some of the beliefs were healthy and balanced, others were not.

In any case, since I did not change those beliefs, I ended up in my teens, twenties, thirties, and forties with a belief system and emotional responses of a 5-year-old.

I have discovered how the human being has the right to create new beliefs about themselves as they go through the experiences of their lives.

I have found out that nothing outside of me has any control over the inside of me.

My beliefs about myself create my internal responses.

As a 59-year-old man I have allowed myself the gift of new healthy and balanced beliefs about me.

I choose to allow others the freedom to have their own beliefs about themselves without judgement from me.

In this lifestyle I allow myself to live in acceptance of myself and others.

I choose today to live with compassion, appreciation, empathy, kindness, Love, and peace.

May each of you allow yourself the gift of emotional maturity.

You are Love and Loved.
