I used to believe the only way to connect with God was through attending church.
My difficulty came when I decided that I was free to live anyway I wanted away from the church because God was only in that “temple”.
I also thought that formal prayer was the only way to communicate with God and I ended up being angry at God for never listening to or answering my prayers.
As I have traveled this road of discovery, I have come to understand that prayer is used only for statements of appreciation and communication with God happens with every thought.
God is all things and all things are God. My connection to and communication with God is life.
Every breath, thought, belief, action, reaction everything is communicating with God.
My acceptance of God as all, and all beings as physical representations of God brings joy: for there is no judgement.
In daily setting of intentions, statements of appreciation, affirmations, and meditation allows me to set the connection with the Divine Source.
