Can’t see the gifts due to the defects.

There have been times in my life when I was so focused on my defects of character that I honestly did not believe there was any good in me at all.

I used this belief to remain “humble” in front of others in the form of self-criticism, which is another form of self-centeredness.

During this spiritual road trip, I have discovered how to identify the good within me and to develop appreciation for the amazing creation in which I live.

As I became willing to acknowledge the defects of character, I needed to gain balance through a willingness to develop my gifts and talents.

The irony was I needed to experience the defects and their consequences in order to develop a desire for the gifts.

Today I choose to hold deep appreciation for the experiences I had from living out my defects and the amazing life I have created due to those experiences.

May each of you allow yourself the gift of acknowledging and developing your gifts and talents.

There is much Love for you.
