Being Love

I am reminded how we are each in charge of the Love we feel and the Love we give.

I used to believe that I needed someone or something outside of me to give me love in order for me to feel loved.

As I have gone through many relationships, I found myself being codependent on others to feel loved.

I would try to make sure they were happy so I could feel happy.

Even to the point of giving up what I truly wanted so I could provide for the other.

They had nothing to do with my beliefs; I created those and thus sought out partners who I could fix and take care of.

Today I understand how I get to be in charge of my own happiness and my own source of love.

I create the characteristics I want in my life, and I personify the type of person I want to be.

In so doing I create a Love of self and others.

For as I see myself and as I Love myself, I see and Love others.

Today I tune into the Source of true Love through appreciation and meditation.

I remember my intentions of entering each experience with acceptance, appreciation, kindness, understanding, humor, empathy, humility, honesty, peace, and Love.

May each of you find the Love that is you.

You are Loved.
