I am reminded today of the amazing gift of appreciation.
I am practicing the art of gratitude throughout my day.
It all started when I was stressed out, frustrated, annoyed and angry. I became tired of hauling those emotions around and my body felt ill most of the time.
I was accused of being the cause of my own problems and that hurt.
When I started to find little things for which I was grateful I felt like a fake.
As I grew along in this practice I became more and more fulfilled in my life, and I started to feel happiness, joy, and serenity.
Today I am blamed for being positive and optimistic.
I am guilty of those charges, and I am not sorry.
May each of you allow yourself the gift of being guilty of happiness, joy, and serenity.
