Be gentle

I am reminded how my favorite encounters with other beings have been when I was gentle with them.

I can admit how I have not always been gentle.

There were many years I was living in fear, and I defended myself by being intimidating, threatening, and angry.

I did not realize I was living in fear until my reactions to life brought enough consequences which I did not prefer.

When I became willing to accept the idea that I created my own misery, I was opened up to a new perspective of me and my responses to life.

I completed a few moral inventories and shared them with trusted men in my life, and I was freed from resentments and fear.

It took a few years of trial and error for me to evolve into who and what I am now, and I will continue to grow along in my own spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional journey.

Today I intend to enter each experience with gentleness, acceptance, kindness, humor, understanding, empathy, peace, and Love.

May each of you allow yourself the gift of gentleness towards yourself and others.

You are Loved.
