All or nothing

The readings reminded me of the dangers of all or nothing thinking.

I have participated in this type of thinking to the point of creating beliefs based in all or nothing.

I have believed my sports teams were the best no matter their record. I believed my religion was the one true one regardless of the beliefs of others who were living wonderful lives. I have believed that my ideas about the world were the real beliefs about what was going on.

I realized I was fearful, frustrated, defensive, judgmental, and angry most of the time.

Fortunately, I have been released from that closed minded thinking.

I have allowed myself to step out of the restraints and into freedom.

I understand that each being has their own journey through this human experiment and each gets to have their own beliefs, thoughts, feelings, actions, and reactions.

Every being is to be honored in their humanness and free to have and express their beliefs.

Each of you are given the gift of living out your life in any way you choose.

May you choose a life which brings you happiness, joy, and freedom.

You are Loved.
