Tom Morrison

Actions over words.

I used to preach a lot about the amazing changes I had made through my religious beliefs and how others needed to do the same or they would suffer eternally.

Childish words from a child.

As I have grown along this journey, I have discovered that my thoughts and words were simply trying to make myself be better or at least different.

I was still feeding my ego and until I could become willing enough to let go of my ego, I would continue to fight to make myself different.

After each ego crushing experience, I became very quiet, and my willingness expanded.

Eventually I learned that I am always progressing through changes, and I will never attain perfection.

Perfection means we are complete, and we no longer have a purpose in this realm.

Today I choose to allow myself each opportunity to be a lesson and I choose to show my responses through actions.

Sometime the action is to keep quiet until I can formulate a healthy response, other times it is to see others in compassion and empathy.

It is through the daily practice of setting my intentions, prayer of appreciation, affirmations, and meditation that I get to maintain a conscious awareness of the Divine Source.

Through that connection I get to see all other being as a physical manifestation of God.

Today I choose to love.

May each of you allow yourself the gift of living in the Divine Love.

You are Love and Loved.
