Out of the pit

I am reminded how a person’s faith in the Divine Energy, which I call God will lift them out of the deepest of pits.

When I was in the mental health ward I do remember hearing one voice in my head, and it said: “You no longer need to live this way.”

At that moment I felt a warmth swarm over me and through me. It was then my obsession for alcohol was taken away.

Since that day I have not had a desire to drink, however, I have had a number of experiences which brought me into my anxiety and depression.

Through those experiences I have learned that God created us to heal ourselves through changing our beliefs and opening ourselves up to Grace.

It has been many 24 hours since that first change, and I have put myself through many difficulties which turned out to be amazing blessings.

Today I choose to live in the moment and to find appreciation for the amazing creation in which I live.

I begin each day with statements of appreciation, setting of intentions, affirmations, and meditation. This allows me to tune into the frequency that is God and sets my mood.

Today I choose to enter each experience with compassion, empathy, acceptance, understanding, kindness, and love.

May each of you allow yourself the gift of being lifted up by the Grace that is God.

You are Love and Loved.
