I am reminded this morning how the wellness of the individual promotes the greatest good of all beings.
When I first started on this road of recovery from alcoholism I was told that anonymity was paramount to the success of AA.
As I grew along, I realized that being sober was more that telling people about my sobriety. It was about living a lifestyle.
I learned from the example others have set down.
As I became healthier over the years, I lost my selfish need to brag about being sober and offered that information when I felt it might be helpful.
Now I have an understanding that living out a healthy lifestyle and sharing my experiences can be helpful to others.
I hold the intention of being as helpful as I can to others through living a healthy lifestyle and learning from others who are doing the same.
I choose to practice a balance of my physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual self.
May each of you allow yourself the gift of wellness.
You are Love and Loved.
