I am reminded how God will give us opportunities to change how we live when we feel we need it.
Now we may not get what we think we need or want but we are given a change.
When I first got sober, I tried to remain sober with the same life I had when I was drinking.
After a few weeks a panic attack pushed me to seek help, and I landed in AA.
This seemed to be my pattern for much of my life. Just keep living the same way, ignoring the subtle thoughts and feelings within, until something outside of me knocks me into willingness to change.
Over the last few years, I have spent more time looking inward, taking accountability and responsibility for my own life.
I have a daily practice of prayers of appreciation, setting of intentions, affirmations, and meditation.
This brings me into alignment with the Divine design for my life.
Living in each moment as if it were the only moment in existence.
Today I choose to live in accordance with God’s will for my life. To live in acceptance, appreciation, and Love.
May each of you allow yourself the gift of participating in change as it evolves into your life.
You are Love and Loved.
