I am reminded how being of service to others without expectation of payment is God’s will for me today.
In my life this looks like me helping others who seem to be struggling in the gym.
Smiling at people as I go through my day.
Greeting the stranger who happens to make eye contact with me.
Listening to the person who may need to vent; without trying to give them a solution.
Being present to others who are having a day, good or bad.
Sharing my addiction and recovery story with anyone who may ask about it.
Writing down and sharing my experiences each morning.
Being willing to coach people into creating a different mindset.
Being supportive of others without judgement.
My daily practice of setting my intentions, prayers of appreciation, affirmations, and meditation allow me to tune into God and be a conduit for the Divine Spirit to flow to and through me.
May each of you allow yourself the gift of the willingness to be of service to others.
