Tom Morrison

Happy where you are.

This has been one of the more difficult changes I have ever tried to make.

I have always tried to make myself happy by keeping others happy.

In fact, I got to the point where I could be out in public and see what I judged as an unhappy look on a stranger’s face, and I felt bad and guilty.

Gowing up I took on the message that we needed to keep others happy, including those outside the house. I remember hearing “what would the neighbors think?”

Over the last few years, I have practiced being detached from others so I can focus on my own beliefs, thoughts, actions, and reactions.

Well, I have made enough progress in my self-love that I have discovered that I now live in a way that no one else gets offended.

I choose honesty, compassion, empathy, kindness, Love, and peace when viewing others in the world around me.

I have an authentic response to the world around me.

I get to be happy where I am.

May each of you allow yourself the gift of being happy where you are.

You are Love and Loved.
