I used to believe that I was only close to God when I was in some holy place like a church, synagogue, temple, or wherever you practice your religion.
I grew to understand that I could connect to God in my daily devotions, yet I would then venture out into public, and my connection failed due to other people’s sinful behavior.
Eventually I learned that my connection to God is on me, and I can allow myself a conscious awareness of God’s presence in every person, place, thing, situation, institution, and principality.
I know that God is in all things and is all things and this brings me joy!
The Love that is God is within every creation seen and unseen and each being has a role to play in the Divine design for our lives.
Through my daily routine of prayers of appreciation, setting of intentions, affirmations, and meditation, I maintain a conscious awareness of that Source Energy I choose to call God.
May each of you allow yourself the gift of conscious connection to the Divine eternal Love that is God.
