This morning’s meditation.
To take offence.
I was struck hard by this concept this morning.
I am reminded how being offended is a choice.
I know it is very difficult to allow other people grace in the heat of the moment, and with practice I can release myself from any offence intended by others.
I have been offended by others as well as by my own words and actions.
I needed to receive grace in order to allow myself and others some slack and forgiveness.
When I am emotionally fragile, I have the responsibility to practice restraint of tongue and pen.
I can turn inward and practice my breathwork, focus on prayers of appreciation, and do a short meditation in order to get realigned.
It is by the power granted us by the Creator to take offence or allow grace and forgiveness and it is ours to do the work to choose our responses.
Today I intend to grant myself and others grace.
May each of you find your grace and forgiveness.
You are Loved.
