This morning’s meditation.
Building up.
I am reminded how easy it is to tear down a person and how difficult it can be to build them up.
It is all in how I judge others.
I will use myself as an example.
I have been called a sinner, Satan, humanist, fallen, and wrong all by people who were hoping to get me to convert to their understanding of their chosen religion.
In my past I have also tried to get others to believe as I believed.
My experience tells me that how I live is the best way to help others.
I can cheer people on, coach them and tell them all good things about themselves and they will only truly feel good about who and what they are when they begin to believe those things about themselves.
Today I choose to build up others in word and deed.
Today I intend to enter each experience with understanding, compassion, kindness, empathy, humor, humility, acceptance, appreciation, peace, and Love.
May each of you find your way to build a positive self-view.
