This morning’s meditation.
The recovery.
I am reminded to do an end of month review of my progress in recovery.
I need to stop and remind myself of the definition of recovery.
It is not giving up alcohol and drugs.
It is the unlearning of all the lessons of my past life and recovering who and what I truly am.
Stopping the alcohol and drugs was needed for me to gain a clear mind, stopping the victimhood beliefs started to crumble who my ego created.
Beginning each day with appreciation, saying thank you throughout my day, and ending the day in gratitude allows me to remember that I am an amazing creation.
I am an expression of God in this human form.
I am here as this human person to realize the true source of my existence and to rejoice in this opportunity to just be.
Recovering who and what I am seems to be a lifelong process, for which I am truly grateful.
May each of you allow yourself the gift of entering your own journey of recovery.
You are Loved.
