I am reminded how I am made of many beliefs, experiences, thoughts, feelings, actions, and reactions.
I remember believing that I needed to fight off or hide the “bad” thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
What I came to find out was fighting them or hiding them only made me tired. Mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually tired.
In my weariness, I would succumb to one or more of those reactions which I did not prefer.
My experience has shown me how doing a moral inventory, listing out each and every resentment I have ever held.
Against myself and others, then practice my honesty about my part in each experience.
Through this process I could identify my fears, anxieties, lies, and distortions.
In so doing I can take ownership of them; appreciate them for the lessons I learned about myself from using them and then accept the fact they are a part of me.
Because of this simple acknowledgement, I no longer use the beliefs, thoughts, feelings actions, and reactions, I do not prefer.
Today I live in conscious awareness of all my different parts, and I appreciate everything I have learned from each of them.
Today I get to choose to live in alignment with my highest self and to commune with that which I call God.
My conception of God Loves me with all my parts, good and “bad”.
May each of you live in acceptance.
You are Loved.
