Tom Morrison

Difficulty brings ease.

I spent most of my younger years fighting to stay out of trouble and I would seem to find difficulties.

I would blame as many outside sources as I could.

After I got sober, I started on this path of discovery.

I slowly learned how I would create my own difficulties through focusing on staying out of trouble based on my fear of getting into trouble.

When I finally understood how my intention behind my beliefs and thoughts created my reality, I started to enjoy learning from my difficulties.

When I stopped blaming everything and everyone outside of me and looked only at my reactions to life it started to get easier.

I learned that, cannot control anything or anyone outside of me.

I get to decide what I believe about me and in so doing I see the world through those same beliefs.

Today I choose to enter each experience with compassion, empathy, understanding, kindness, acceptance, appreciation, peace, and Love.

It is with these characteristics that I choose to see myself and others. In so doing, I live life with ease.

May each of you allow yourself the gift of living with ease.

You are Love and Loved.
