I am reminded how my fear of powerlessness drove me to a desire for power.
Ironically, being powerless and admitting my powerlessness over alcohol brought me to accepting and believing in a power far greater than anything I had ever experienced.
I have spent years searching for the identity of God so I could finally be right.
I studied all religions and many spiritual practices, and I found other people’s understanding of what they were told about God.
Finally, I turned inward towards myself, and I found the Love that is God.
I then was allowed to see the Love that is God within and around others.
In finding God I have found all the power I needed, the power of unconditional Love.
I fear no one, I fear nothing because I am Love and Loved.
You are Love and Loved.
