Check in

I am reminded how I get to create each moment to how I like it simply by checking in with myself.

I make it a point to stop and check in on my breathing, thinking, and feelings.

When I do my check ins, I discover when I am out of focus or alignment.

I find when I am thinking of someone or something other than the activity I am involved in at that moment, and this brings anxiety, frustration, annoyance, irritation and other negative experiences.

I have been practicing being present during each activity of my day.

When am doing an exercise in the gym, I breathe and remain focused on that one activity.

When I find myself mentally wandering, I stop, breathe and lovingly bring my focus to the exercise.

I practice this while doing laundry, dishes, writing, driving, and working.

It has brought me an inner peace I have craved for years.

May each of you allow yourself the gift of being present in each moment.

You are Love and Loved.
