I used to believe that I had to do really good things for others and keep those things a secret in order to go to heaven when I died.
I also believed that I needed to suffer in this life to get to go to heaven.
Fortunately, I discovered I was wrong.
The joy of the Lord is in living the life that was mapped out for you prior to taking on physical form. Participating in the Divine design of your life, or if you prefer doing God’s will.
Finding what I love doing, participating in that life, and reveling in the resulting joy. This is the joy of the Lord.
Having gone through all the hardships and difficulties to find my way to this lifestyle have made the results even more enjoyable.
Today I understand, to experience the joy of the Lord, I need only to enter each experience with compassion, understanding, acceptance, empathy, appreciation, kindness, peace, and Love.
May each of you allow yourself the gift of living in the Joy of the Lord.
