Living right.

I remember when I believed that living right was following a set of rules and expectations set upon me by my elders and a church.

I recall feeling frustrated and confused because I was not happy and I didn’t believe that I had to wait for some far-off reward to be given to me so I could be happy.

I have discovered how happiness is a byproduct of how I live.

When I participate in compassion, empathy, acceptance, appreciation, understanding, kindness, peace and Love then I am happiest.

The rest of life; the material things, relationships, jobs, and the like are all choices I get to make.

I make my best decisions from a state of happiness.

My choices bring me to living right.

May each of you allow yourself the gift of living in happiness today.

You are Love and Loved.
